Who You Really Are And Why You Are Here

Hello, and welcome to the Un-Contain Yourself blog. Martha has kindly agreed to speak for us so we can share our messages with you. We are a Group Consciousness here to help you remember who you really are – eternal beings. Your human experience is important for you to grow as eternal beings, but it is easy to get caught up in the physical world and all the struggles you have in your human form. We want to show you how your eternal Self is looking to grow through these experiences and give you a different perspective to view your human life – as a partnership with your eternal consciousness. Our hope is to show you just how powerful you really are, how connected to All That Is that you are, and be able to use your experiences on Earth as fuel for growth. To help you see that your experiences are happening for you, not to you.

We will start at the beginning.

As you sit in your human bodies on Earth, it’s easy to think that your human self is the only aspect of your being. Your eternal being or your unique Self is also an aspect of you. We say aspect because they are, in fact, the same vibration, one which has more mass than the other. You can think of your eternal being and your human being as two ends of a kaleidoscope. When you “look” or perceive through one end, all you see is a jumble of colored glass pieces. When you “look” through the other end, you see interconnected patterns. With every turn, you see a slightly new pattern. It’s the same pieces of colored glass in the tube creating these different patterns. What changes is the lens in between. As the light goes through the changing lenses, you see how the lenses and the light transform what looks like disconnected pieces into a beautiful, complex picture. Your human being sees the disconnected pieces, and your eternal being sees the complex pattern. You are here to allow your eternal being to work through your human being to transform the disconnected colored pieces into a beautiful, complex picture of you and share that beautiful picture with others.

The nature of your eternal being is expansion and self-exploration. You want to understand all of who you are as part of All That Is. It’s a big task, but you have time to do it because you are eternal. There really is no time for you as an eternal being. There is only expansion and connection. As a drop in the ocean, you are expanding to become the ocean. You incarnate on Earth to help you do that. You are here to explore the nature of who you are, what that means, and how you are whole and part of the whole. As that being, you don’t have fear or doubt, or pain. That core of you knows that those feelings are not part of you but part of the human experience you are exploring. To understand that feeling of separation, to understand that you are whole. You came to Earth to trust and to know that what you experience here is the back-to-front reality. It is opposite to the true nature.

You came to Earth to grow. You came to Earth to expand. You came to Earth to experience the duality of either/or so you could transcend that to see both/and. You are a limitless being, and you know it, although it is covered in layers of limits that were imposed for reasons of your choosing. You are here to work with the limits that are imposed on you so you can see that you are really limitless. Paradox. Without those limits, you can’t experience your own power to work with and overcome those self-imposed limits. You won’t be able to see your strength, you won’t be able to experience it, and you won’t be able to understand your full nature without it. Feeling the limits allows you to fully appreciate how limitless you are. Going beyond those limits allows you to experience your power like you could not if nothing was pushing against it.

Pushing beyond limits shows you your strength. Take any physical endurance race or game that requires you to “push through” the limits of what you believe you can do. There are many examples of people who are “limited” physically and then astound others with what they can accomplish. You do this by believing in yourself, not believing in your limitations.

This also doesn’t happen overnight. There is a competition called “couch to 5k” where those who aren’t athletes or who, for various reasons, believed their limits in what they could do physically. They started where they were – with the limit that as a ‘couch potato’ they couldn’t run a 5k race. But they didn’t want to be that anymore. Slowly, with the dedication to becoming all of who they could become, they ran a 5k race. The limit was there to show them that if they believed they were more than that, they could go beyond the limits.

You are not defined by your limits. You define who you are and what you are capable of, and with strength of heart and determination, push past those limits. You discover how powerful you already are in the process. Without those limits, you couldn’t prove it to yourself. Your eternal being knows. Your human you needs the proof. Your human being can prove it. You need to prove to yourself that you are capable, that you have value and worth. The limits are guides for you to see that those “limits” aren’t real and to prove to yourself that you are limitless by pushing past them.
